The defendant, Penelope Cox, was convicted by a jury in the circuit court of Iroquois County for unlawful possession of a narcotic drug, marijuana, and unlawfully dispensing a narcotic drug, marijuana. The trial court sentenced the defendant to a term of two to five years on the first charge and a term of ten to twenty years on the second charge...
