On February 3, 1966, decedent William E. Huffman, while driving his automobile northbound on Indiana State Highway No. 63 in Vermillion County north of Newport, was fatally injured in a collision with a southbound truck owned by defendant-appellant Phegley and driven by his employee Michael Gardner.
