This appeal raises the question whether the importer of merchandise invoiced as 133 bales of greasy wool was properly assessed duty on one bale which was reported by inspecting customs personnel as missing when the shipment was released to the importer from customs custody. The Customs Court, Third Division, denied the importer's protest against such assessment1 and this appeal ensued.
