This is an appeal from a jury conviction of transporting a stolen 1970 Pontiac from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Arabi, Louisiana, knowing it to have been stolen in violation of Section 2312, Title 18, United States Code (The National Motor Vehicle Theft Act). The defendant attacks the conviction on three grounds: (1) that prejudicial remarks of the prosecutor deprived him of a fair trial; (2) that handwriting specimens were improperly introduced...
