McALLISTER, Justice.

This is an action on a promissory note in the amount of $80,000, executed in the name of defendant Woodtek, Inc., by Charles Bernert, defendant's general manager and vice president. Plaintiff is the payee. Woodtek defended on the grounds that there was no consideration for the note, and that Bernert was without authority to execute it.
