On March 5, 1969, Otis Lee Reese was indicted by the Grand Jury in the Northern District of Georgia for violation of the Military Selective Service Act of 1967. A non-jury trial was held on January 18, 1971, and the only evidence offered by the government was a copy of defendant's Selective Service file.
