This litigation arises from activities by the Openshaws' insurance company, Oregon Automobile Insurance Company, while a trial between the Openshaws and third persons was taking place. The trial referred to concerned an automobile accident near Wendell, Idaho, wherein the Openshaw vehicle collided with a truck owned and operated by Gordon Adams.
