Appellants were convicted in a joint trial before Chief Judge Marsh and a jury of the robbery of the Progressive Home Federal Savings and Loan Association, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.1 A fourth defendant, Jack Parrotte, was acquitted by the jury.
