The constitutionality of the Washington "Implied Consent Law" is here before this court for the first time. The law — adopted by the electorate as Initiative Measure No. 242 on November 5, 1968 —1 requires motorists suspected of driving while intoxicated to submit to a chemical test of blood alcohol content or face revocation of their license to drive.
