This is an appeal from an order denying relief by the County Criminal Court at Law No. 4 of Harris County after a hearing on an application for writ of habeas corpus held on March 12, 1971.

Appellant contends that he is indigent and cannot pay fines assessed against him after he was found guilty in Corporation Court of the City of Houston for three offenses of negligent collision and three offenses for driving without an operator...
