WILLIAMS, J.

The defendant, William Allen Arensmeyer, was charged in the municipal court of Seattle with willfully opposing, hindering or delaying a member of the police force in the performance of his official duty. After trial and conviction the defendant appealed to the superior court where the case was tried de novo to a jury, again resulting in his conviction. His appeal to this court followed.
