In 1969 appellant was indicted on two counts of assault with intent to do bodily harm and on a third count of assault with intent to murder. These charges arose from an attack upon two workers at a United States Army Depot in Memphis, Tennessee, and averred violations of 18 U.S.C. § 113(a) & (c).
