Petitioner Linda C. Roman was convicted, after a jury trial in the Circuit Court of Fairfax County, Virginia, of robbery, and sentenced to five years imprisonment. An appeal to the Supreme Court of Virginia was denied. She then filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus in this Court.
