The petitioner's application for a writ of habeas corpus, made pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241 et seq., is denied.

The petitioner was indicted in 1960 for first degree murder for the killing of a policeman within minutes after the commission of a robbery. He was tried and found guilty of common law murder in the first degree. The New York Court of Appeals affirmed the conviction without opinion. People v. Jackson,
