Plaintiff, Mrs. Mae Belle Kinard, was injured when she slipped and fell while shopping at the Kroger supermarket on Hollywood Street in Shreveport. Her fall was caused by the presence of a spot or puddle of liquid on the floor of the aisle in front of the meat and poultry counter. Plaintiff brought suit for damages against The Kroger Company, owner of the store and its insurer, Employers Casualty Company...
