In these consolidated diversity actions, Ruth Louise Williams and Edward Smith, Louisiana citizens and adult children of the defendant, sue their mother, Agnes Bambauer, a Mississippi citizen, for bodily injuries sustained by them in a one-car accident occurring on February 5, 1970.
