The Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act, 7 U.S.C. § 499a et seq., requires the licensing of commission merchants, dealers and brokers in perishable commodities. Any licensee who violates the Act is liable to the person or persons injured thereby for the full amount of damages sustained in consequence of such violation.
