These four civil actions were brought in the Superior Court to recover for injuries allegedly sustained when an automobile owned and operated by the defendant, Arthur D. O'Leary, Jr., struck the rear of an automobile operated by a stranger to these proceedings, which in turn collided with the rear of a motor vehicle owned by plaintiff, Salvatore J.
