The respondent, Harold C. Guppy, Jr., was charged with receiving stolen property in violation of 13 V.S.A. Sec. 2561, having a value in excess of $100,00. A jury trial was held on August 11 and 12, 1970, in Vermont District Court, Unit #6, Windham Circuit, and a verdict of guilty was rendered.
