On February 19, 1969 appellee N. Bruce Wiley filed suit seeking injunctive relief against appellant Town of Renner, Texas and also against Texas Power & Light Company. In his amended petition appellee asks that Town of Renner be commanded to desist and refrain from interfering with the connection of electrical power utilities to appellee's land.
