On November 6, 1961 respondent was injured when his automobile was struck from the rear by appellant's automobile. Earlier that year, respondent, suffering severe pains in his head, neck, right arm and right shoulder, successfully underwent disc surgery and, prior to the accident, experienced few symptoms. Consequently, at that time, he had resumed his full-time duties. Following the accident, respondent again experienced the same symptomatology as prior to the operation...
