Elgin Martin was charged with the murder of his son, James Guice Martin, the killing occurring on December 8, 1968. On trial, Martin was convicted of voluntary manslaughter, and sentenced to three years imprisonment in the State Penitentiary. From the judgment so entered, appellant brings this appeal. For reversal, it is urged that the testimony was insufficient to sustain a conviction, and that the court erred in permitting the state to introduce...
