In this case plaintiff seeks to recover damages from the defendant for an alleged breach of contract. Plaintiff claims that the defendant was obligated to install a "one hour fire resistive" ceiling in the boiler room of the church by virtue of the provisions of the Uniform Building Code of the City of Rock Island and that the defendant failed to do so.
