Appellee, F. W. Shifflett, was standing near a parked automobile in Russellville, Kentucky, on May 21, 1967, when it was struck by an automobile owned by appellant, Johnson-Kitchens Ford Corporation, and operated by Thomas William Kees. Appellant, Roy Lee Townsend, was riding in the car driven by Kees.
