This is an appeal from the denial of postconviction relief under 14 M.R.S.A. §§ 5502-5508. The appellant was convicted of the crime of rape by a Cumberland County jury in December, 1966 and is serving his sentence to a term in Maine State Prison of not less than 4 years and not more than 10 years.
