The parties to this action were divorced on April 30, 1965, after 34 years of marriage. The decree ordered the plaintiff, Doris C. McKendry (wife) to pay alimony of $600 per month, commencing January 1, 1966, to the defendant, Lorne E. McKendry (husband).1
