Leonard G. Lewis sued for damages allegedly resulting from injuries sustained on April 21, 1967, when his automobile was struck from the rear by a panel truck operated by Otis R. Sumerall, owned by Interstate Electric Company and insured by The Fidelity & Casualty Company of New York. Plaintiff voluntarily dismissed his demands against Sumerall. The jury returned a verdict in favor of Lewis and against defendants, Interstate Electric and Fidelity...
