This action, as asserted by the plaintiffs in their second amended complaint, was brought against the defendants under § 4 of the Clayton Act (15 U.S.C. § 15), to recover treble damages and obtain injunctive relief because of alleged violations by the defendants of §§ 1, 2 and 3 of the Sherman Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 1, 2 and 3).
