McKENNA, Justice.

Plaintiffs brought this action in the District Court of San Juan County to quiet title to an oil and gas lease covering the SE ¼ NW ¼ of Section 30, T. 29N., R. 11W, N.M.P.M. The defendants answered alleging that the lease had terminated in accordance with its terms. Two of the defendants, Evan C. Salmon and his wife, who allege that they are the owners of the oil and gas mineral estate below the base of the Pictured Cliff...
