At about 10:45 A.M. at the intersection of 11th and M Streets, N.W., Mrs. Pearl Cunningham, a 67-year-old woman, had her purse snatched by a person she had viewed for several minutes as she approached the intersection on her way to do some shopping at a Safeway store.
