This is an original action brought by the plaintiffs, on their own behalf and on behalf of all other district judges, for a declaratory judgment to determine the amount of salary payable by the State of Nebraska to the judges of the district court of this state on and after January 16, 1970. The basis of the original jurisdiction rests in Article V, section 2, Constitution of the State of Nebraska.
