This is a medical malpractice case brought against two practicing physicians, Jack W. Avery, M. D. and Karl K. Birdsong, M. D., by the surviving wife and children of Bobby Ray Gibson, deceased, a patient of the appellees, for damages alleged to have been sustained by virtue of Gibson's death.
