ELKINGTON, J.

Appellant Daniel Gee held the civil service classification of "General Auditor III" in the State Department of Justice. He was dismissed from that position, effective October 27, 1966, by the Attorney General for causes set forth in Government Code section 19572 as follows: "(f) Dishonesty.... (t) Other failure of good behavior either during or outside of duty hours which is of such a nature that it causes discredit...
