Defendant Stella King was found guilty by a jury of willfully and maliciously burning personal property of a value of more than $50.1 The issue on appeal is whether defendant, given the circumstances of her arrest and her own personal situation, knowingly waived her right to counsel and voluntarily confessed to the crime charged.
