The present case is prefaced by an earlier action commenced by plaintiff Perry & Derrick Company, Inc. for an amount due on a contract for goods and services against the Farmer's Exchange and Perfection Flour Mills Company and against Stanley Murawaski, individually, as surety on a guarantee note.
