FICKLING, Associate Judge:

Appellant was convicted by the court sitting without a jury of illegal possession of heroin. D.C.Code 1967, § 33-402.

Since the Government concedes that appellant was not afforded the right of allocution prior to sentencing, the only issue meriting discussion is the denial of appellant's motions to suppress the heroin seized as a result of a pat-down of his person. After thorough consideration, we affirm appellant's conviction...
