The parties were formerly husband and wife, the latter having been granted a final judgment of divorce in April of 1960. Thereunder the provisions of the interlocutory decree relating to the support of their three minor children were made binding — payment by the husband (hereinafter referred to as "Melvin") to the wife (hereinafter referred to as "Charlotte") of the sum of $80 per month per child.
