The respondent undertakes to show cause why the federal writ of habeas corpus applied for by the petitioner Mr. Jenkins should not be granted by his answer of April 3, 1970 herein. The gravamen of these reasons are that there was no illegal search and seizure, and thus no violation of the petitioner's federal constitutional right to be secure in his effects from unreasonable search and seizure.
