Defendant appeals from a judgment of imprisonment after a jury found him guilty of assault with a deadly weapon. (Pen. Code, § 245, subd. (a).) We filed an unpublished opinion in this case on December 18, 1969, then ordered a rehearing on our own motion in order to reconsider the appeal in the light of the California Supreme Court's decision in People v. Hood, 1 Cal.3d 444...
