OPINION

THOMPSON, Justice.

In 1965 the appellant was charged with murder, and by separate proceeding was found insane and unable to stand trial. Accordingly, he was committed to the Nevada state hospital for treatment. Two years later a district court directed his transfer to the Nevada state prison to be there confined until further order. His transfer was authorized by NRS 178.4251
