OPINION

ZENOFF, Justice.

At or about 1:50 a.m., of January 19, 1969 two police cars were proceeding north of Reno on Highway 395 to check on a 1958 Ford that was parked in the parking lot of a super market. One police car stopped behind the parked Ford, left the headlights and taillights burning and the officer focused a spotlight on the parked auto.
