After inspecting it, Robert F. Webb bought a new Chevrolet pickup truck from Chevy Chase Cars, Inc. (Chevy Chase) for some $5,000. He made the down payment of $1,498.40 in the form of his post-dated check and agreed to pay the balance in monthly instalments, signing a conditional sales contract which he knew was to be, as it later was, assigned to General Motors Acceptance...
