OPINION

POWERS, Justice.

This is a civil action for negligence brought on behalf of a minor by his father as next friend for personal injury and by the father for consequential damages. The case was tried to a Superior Court justice and a jury which returned a verdict for the defendant. It is before us on the plaintiffs' appeal from the judgment accordingly entered.
