In an indictment returned by the Grand Jury of San Diego County, appellant, Bernardino Arauz, was charged in count I with the murder of John McKeen Bright, Jr. (Pen. Code, § 187), and in count II with attempted robbery of George Ruiz (Pen. Code, §§ 664 and 211).
