Mr. JUSTICE CULBERTSON delivered the opinion of the court:

Defendant, Larry N. Wease, age 18, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of burglary brought against him in the circuit court of Morgan County and was sentenced to the penitentiary for a term of not less than two nor more than ten years. Approximately two years later he filed a petition under the Post-Conviction Hearing Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1967, ch. 38, pars. 122-1 et seq.
