Defendant Carroll Way was committed to the Department of Mental Health for treatment following his acquittal by a jury of first-degree murder. The lower court based its action on MCLA § 767.27b (Stat Ann 1970 Cum Supp § 28.966[12]).1 Defendant brings this appeal as of right from his commitment.
