In seeking an indictment against Willard Schlegel for violation of the income tax laws, the United States government in the hearing before the United States Commissioner placed in evidence the testimony of an internal revenue agent. It was to the effect that Jay L. Dunlap, an attorney who prepared Schlegel's income tax return in 1964, told the agent that he had prepared from summaries furnished by Schlegel a return for Schlegel, whereupon Schlegel...
