This is a Petition for a Writ of Special Action filed by the Maricopa County Attorney. The real party in interest is one Josephine Haletky (Respondent) who, in August of 1969 was charged with, and pleaded guilty to, the charge of Assault with a Deadly Weapon in violation of A.R.S. § 13-249. In conjunction with her plea the respondent also entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity, under the provisions of A.R.S. § 13-1621.01....
