OPINION AND ORDER

REYNOLDS, Judge.

On May 1, 1970, Paul J. Wirtz filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus with this court. The petitioner is a reserve member of the United States Army. The petition for writ of habeas corpus challenges the Army's refusal to grant petitioner's request for a discharge from the Army as a conscientious objector.
