These consolidated actions, totaling seventeen claims, arose out of a crash of a Braniff Airways, Inc., ("Braniff") flight near Falls City, Nebraska, on August 6, 1966. The aircraft was manufactured by British Aircraft Corporation Ltd. ("BAC"). All thirty-eight passengers and four crew members aboard the aircraft were killed in the crash.
